Learning music can be incredibly beneficial for yourself. As an educator, I always aim to show the joys of making music to my students through your own personal goals. At university, I took multiple choir tours to the east coast, and an international tour to Greece. I sang in the Taylor Sounds and the Taylor Chorale, where we performed spirituals, a capella in various genres (jazz, rock, worship, etc.), and classical works, such as The Messiah. Through these experiences, I have taught in both group and individual settings. While studying voice, I also studied piano, and have been playing guitar since the 7th grade. My lessons will range from classical techniques, to learning by ear, to learning how to improvise.

One of my goals as an educator is to cultivate creativity in students. Creativity is a tool you can use in any situation, and music can show you how to do just that!
