Lesson Policy

•     Lesson fees are to be prepaid by autopay before the 1st of the month; Lesson fees are non-refundable.
•     Private lessons on all instruments are scheduled once per week, at the same day and time with the same teacher.

• Lessons last 30 minutes, current rate is $35 per Weekly Lesson, $40 per Drop-In Lesson.

• To be eligible for a make-up lesson, a current student must cancel with at least 24 hours notice before the regularly scheduled lesson, or cancel the lesson themselves in the student portal with at least 24-hours notice.
• Suburban Music must be advised in writing that a student plans to discontinue lessons with at least 30 days notice. Lesson fees will continue to accrue as long as the student remains on the schedule, regardless of student's lesson attendance.
• Student accounts will be considered delinquent after 60 days without payment, and any unpaid lesson fees will be charged at the current Drop-In rate, and the account will be referred to a collections agency. Students/Parents agree to accept liability for delinquent accounts, and agree to pay collection fees and any legal fees associated with collections efforts.
• Make-Up Lessons will be offered to current weekly students; it is the responsibility of the student to schedule a make-up lesson before it expires within 60 days.
• Make-Up credits can not be applied to weekly lesson fees, a make-up lesson must be scheduled in addition to a current student's weekly lesson.
• Once a student has discontinued, they forfeit any outstanding make-up credits.
• Students of Suburban Music receive a discount of 15% off in-stock accessories and printed music.
